Barbie®The Exhibition

This major new exhibition has now opened at the Design Museum to coincide with the 65th anniversary of the Barbie brand this very year. The exhibition explores the story of Barbie through a design lens, including fashion, architecture, furniture and vehicle design.

With over 250 remarkable objects, rare, unique, and innovative dolls dating from 1959 to the present day.

Check out the fun creative we placed with one of our media partners, Picnic.

The goal was to create a media campaign that not only drove awareness for the exhibition but also focused on converting engaged and ‘look alike’ audiences. The campaign included:

1. Utilising a fun ’Swipe Right’ format to really engage audiences
2. Targeting audiences beyond those who would be interested in ‘beauty’ or ‘clothes’, and include a whole segment around equality and representation – which really aligns with how the Barbie brand has grown over the years.

This has been running live alongside targeted Out of Home, Display and Meta.
